I told the students today about Mastery Club, and they are so excited! We already have 6 club members! They were interested in having paper copies of the challenges, so I'm going to post them here and on the Mastery Club page for easy printing.

BIG NEWS! Third grade students have been invited to participate in Lafayette's Spelling Bee! Three students in our class have been given the opportunity to participate because they have earned perfect scores on every spelling quiz so far this year! Make sure to wish Zola, Sierra, and Sam lots of luck in the Lafayette Spelling Bee on Friday, January 23rd!

Happy New Year! I hope everyone has been enjoying Winter Break. I've been busy getting us ready for the second half of the year. One of the things I did was set up something called Mastery Club. You'll notice on the left under the heading Student Showcase is a new button I've added. Mastery Club is an opportunity for students to challenge themselves in several different areas of knowledge. I look forward to seeing all of the students join the Mastery Club!
