This week's homework is up. Note that there's a science test Tuesday on life cycles (they learned the information with Ms. Tepfer). There's also a math test Wednesday on place value. The students will have their math review to study. Thursday morning at 10am is the Halloween parade, followed by the Halloween party - all are welcome! And don't forget, no school Friday due to a Professional Development Day.

Today we worked on brainstorming for our new writing project. We will be writing paragraphs that compare and contrast summer and winter. Here is the sentence starter sheet. We'll be working on this in class, but I thought I'd give you a glimpse into our Writer's Workshop.
